Got my YS640s on Saturday, did ribs and chicken on Sunday. Looking at doing a brisket this weekend.

What are these holes in my tree trunk?

I’ve got this lovely tree in my front yard. When mowing the lawns tonight I noticed these holes in the trunk.
Any idea what they are or what might have caused them?
Tree still looks healthy.
