What fic itself is supposed to be about - pretty much a complete worm rewrite with canon divergence at the point where:

Marquis remains at large to this day and is leading second largest gang after E88
Some time after that Danny triggered with master power to spew out super rats at expense of his health, becomes a vigilante that keeps petty crime low with his rats

So yeah, quite heavy hitters in terms of dominoes and butterflies. Without getting into too much detail first ~ third of the story until post leviathan is from glory girls/Victoria's pov where she has to deal with Dallon household where new wave never really taken off (and Amy still in Marquis's care) and criminal underground which is way more "subtle and polite" but not really less rampant. Regarding Taylor she is at first a supporting character but has her trigger event post leviathan and becomes stories protagonist. i am not really asking whether it is a good idea or not, i think it would be worth it for the narrative, but i wonder if people have any recommendations on how to handle a change of protagonist some ways into the story.

for other part of my question i want to explore in the story relationship between shards and capes, with prologue being from queen administrator shard pov. I guess what i am asking is how QA's should be characterized at story start from how she is shown in canon and maybe some fics?
