I'm trying to find the specific fic & chapter where the MC(might have been an SI?) was discussing the Protectorate Cape Cartoon with another person(cape?) and the MC mentions that they'd always assumed Alexandria was secretly assassinating people off-screen based on characters disappearing completely between episodes?

I recently read Nemesis - if you're not familiar, Taylor can biotinker her bugs. But she presents herself as a joke villain, so she designs them to look cute and harmless, and makes them essentially act like the pop culture plague Minions. Bumbling and silly and trying very hard to be cartoonishly evil.

Are there any stories where her powers *actually* work that way? As in, she doesn't directly control her bugs (or projections, or some other kind of minion), she has to order them around, and they're loyal and enthusiastic but kind of share a single braincell?

Any stories where Taylor has Jack Slash's power, with some recognition of the whole "Subtly, subconsciously manipulates capes so she never loses" thing?

And preferably remembering that "Never loses" isn't "Always wins".

No Taylor alt power please. Basically an OC fic where they are related to a canon character, preferably if they are a bud of them. Also if their relation does something for the story or character.

I read that one fic of the OC who was the daughter of the acid guy.

Started reading this fic a few months ago and I really enjoyed the premise- the bank heist goes wrong somehow, and the Undersiders are arrested and sent to different Ward programs across the country, with Taylor going... well, guess where. Anyway, because Taylor hasn't really done much at that point, she's still relatively innocent and idealistic, so instead of seeing her as a ruthless evil monster, she's seen as a lonely, misguided teenager and given a cool and supportive cast of peers and an admin that actually cares about her well-being.

Cue the fic immediately throwing in the single most vile Sophia gets consequences plot I have ever seen. Hell, consequences isn't even the right word. It's just... so over the line it's not even absurd, just gross. The fic got taken down shortly after I started reading that part, but from what I gather it got so, so much worse.

Most fics have Taylor immediately join the BB wards or just go with New York, Boston or Chicago, so Baltimore was interesting to see, and Bank Heist-era Taylor is a really interesting snapshot of her character that I feel doesn't really get explored enough. This is a kid who was so lonely she gaslit herself into being a supervillain, while convincing herself that she was totally going to turn on them and be a hero in the end.

TDLR- I loved the idea of still-innocent not-quite-full-villain Taylor getting her redemption arc in a city we didn't see in canon, but I was extremely put off by an extremely unhinged and gross torture plot with Sophia. Is there anything out there with a similar vibe- without the weird communist brainwash cult?

Specifically "Powerful person or group of people comes from another world and starts helping" aspect. There was a fanfiction about a man coming from another world and murdering Slaughterhouse 9, though I can't remember the name. Please?

This could include post GM, Isekai, or just starting after the initial Taylor-needs-time-to-get-he-bearings phase. I’d prefer something longer and if it’s a crossover it probably needs to explain the other verse and characters.

Basically, Taylor joins the Undersiders full time early on and is tasked to infiltrate the PRT by joining the Wards

What I want is relatively hard to find.

That being :

The SI ( OC is fine too but I really wanted and SI ) is a being of some power and experience BEFORE they arrives at worm.

They could be some one like the MC of Doors to the unknown. A experiemced wizard and planeswalker who arrives at worm by investigating a new pathways in the multiverse that was not there before.

They could a Jumper ( a person who does the type of CYOA where they go into a chain of different worlds of adventure instead of just one - got it ? Jumpchain? Heh ) who alredy have being on some worlds, acumulated some power

Heck they do not even have to be a multiverse traveller as long as they are experimced enough to might as well be. Like Lato Cleff and Jack Bright ( SCP characters ) in my beloved but never finished " Contaiment report "

The first and fore most request is that they are not some newbie who was transited from the normal world straigth to worm

After that one fic were a sort of evil Jumper guy chooses Taylor to become his companion she goes into inter-multiversal adventures and comes back with multiple power from other worlds ( including naruto I think ) I was just like :

Great concept but I not nice execution.

Also ther eis lame twist where the Jumepr was so Lame he actually originally want to take Jack as a companion but chsnged his mind on a whim sort of.

Them I read Doors to The Unknown and think :

Awesome concept and even a good execution but I can't bring myself to like this MC and some of the writting choices thick me off.

So I am searching for a fic that has what I liked on those ones but actually delivers it

I'm looking for fics, that involves a character from another fictional world or universe being transported to the Wormverse universe. By transported, I mean isekai'd, transmigrated, or reincarnated.

And the fic is centered around that character. They are the protagonist.

Okay, so we get a shit-load of purity redemption fanfics despite the fact that canonically she's actually the most racist piece of shit out of the entire Empire despite living in deulu land. people look at her delusions and go, "okay, but what if she was for real on that?"

And then we have Rune as the chaser, because canonically she was redeemed in Ward, and also she's still just a dumb teenager in Worm.

But there's one more girl that they're missing--Othala. It's **CANON** that she's literally a brainwashed CHILD BRIDE. She met Victor when she was like, 13 years old! Had her cousin not died and Victor got hitched to her cousin instead? She would've been trafficked off as a child bride to some random guy, somebody most likely older... and she was too brainwashed to see the problem with that, she was just too happy that she got to marry her crush Victor to really connect the dots. She is litterally a trafficked victim who doesn't even realize that she's a victim.

There's a whole ton of there that people can mine for stories, where they can do a Othala redeemption fanfic while at the same time blasting how terrible the Nazis are... and how hyprotical they are. They blast the ABB for sex trafficking while conveniently ignoring the fact that they do a form of it themselves.

So why aren't there any Othala fanfics where she starts to realize how fucked up this shit is, and maybe even get away from Victor, if they even get together in the first place?

I was rereading the Marquis interlude and it made me realize just how interesting a setting the Birdcage could be for a fic.

So are there any fics about a character being in the Birdcage, that explore what life there might be like?

First of all, I apologize—English isn't my native language.

So, I'm just about to finish the third arc, and I have a question about Panacea's power—how does it work? I mean, I'm already pretty confused because a lot of fanfics use terms like “Aleph and Bet Land,” “Gold Morning,” etc.

I mean, obviously I know they’ll explain it later on—luckily, these things are complex enough that I won’t understand the spoilers and ruin the story for myself—and I imagine they’ll explain her power better… But even so, I’d appreciate it if you could help me understand, please.

The reason for this is that I’m thinking of writing a crossover fanfic with Adrian Tchaikovsky’s *Children of...* series, in which, basically, right after Taylor gains her powers, she gets infected with The Thing of Nod following the events of *Children of Strife*... Specifically, how might Panacea react to a—let’s say—“conscious virus”?

Let’s just say that “Taylor” has a horrible feeling—she doesn’t know why—that Panacea is using her power on her.

Enough Taylor alt-powers already, it's not like she's the protagonist or anything! On a more serious note, I've been reading Thanatonaut (the destiny cross where she becomes a guardian) and have been looking around for any fanfics where Vicky is the POV character and has an alt-power.
