Question about “Children of Strife” with spoilers

First of all, English isn't my native language, though that's probably part of the problem.

I've always been interested in the idea of consciousnesses distributed across multiple bodies, and that's where my question comes from...

I’m just getting to the part where the Ark ship arrives at Hartland, but even so, I don’t understand how the terraformers imprinted their consciousnesses onto the planet. I understand how they’re technically there—that every interaction, the struggles between predators and prey, the flourishing of flora, etc., are their actions—but I don’t understand how they managed to do it.

Again, English isn’t my native language, and that’s probably why I didn’t fully understand. Could someone help me figure this out?

Wtf is Scion?

First of all, I'd like to apologize—English isn't my native language

So, I'm just starting to read *Worm*, and I'm already at the bank scene where Taylor runs into Glory Girl and Panacea, but the more I read, the more curious I get... What is Scion?

I mean, from the spoilers I’ve read, I understand it’s some kind of alien entity that’s the source of the powers in *Worm*, but I also understand it’s some kind of machine?

The thing is, I want to write a crossover fanfic with the *Children of...* book series. Specifically, I want *The Thing of Nod* (a kind of benevolent hive mind but with a lot of existential dilemmas) to infect Taylor after he gains his power... Basically that—The Thing of Nod acting as “Taylor” and unconsciously possessing all the information, knowledge, and consciousness of every being and event that has ever happened to humanity and the successor races in the future...

And here’s my problem: I want to respect the essence of both works, but the thing is, the *Children of...* series is characterized by empathy and understanding between radically different life forms (like The Thing of Nod itself—basically a hive mind that wanted to assimilate everything in the universe, until it realized that would leave it alone and hurt everyone), and I don’t know how to apply that to Scion...

"We're going on an adventure!" The thought formed in “Amy's” mind after she finished using her power on “Taylor.”

First of all, I apologize—English isn't my native language.

So, I'm just about to finish the third arc, and I have a question about Panacea's power—how does it work? I mean, I'm already pretty confused because a lot of fanfics use terms like “Aleph and Bet Land,” “Gold Morning,” etc.

I mean, obviously I know they’ll explain it later on—luckily, these things are complex enough that I won’t understand the spoilers and ruin the story for myself—and I imagine they’ll explain her power better… But even so, I’d appreciate it if you could help me understand, please.

The reason for this is that I’m thinking of writing a crossover fanfic with Adrian Tchaikovsky’s *Children of...* series, in which, basically, right after Taylor gains her powers, she gets infected with The Thing of Nod following the events of *Children of Strife*... Specifically, how might Panacea react to a—let’s say—“conscious virus”?

Let’s just say that “Taylor” has a horrible feeling—she doesn’t know why—that Panacea is using her power on her.

We're going on an adventure!

First of all, sorry for my bad English

Well, I'm reading Adrian Tchakovsky's *Children of Time* series, and, well, I'm doing a crossover with *Worm*

Now, it won’t be a full crossover; it’ll be a character from the series in the Worm universe, though it would be more accurate to say characters... For those of you who already know who I’m talking about (and why the post title is their signature line) because you’ve already read the series, let me explain it to those who have no idea

Basically, I want to put the Thing of Nod into Taylor’s body and see how it reacts to this new and strange world: The Thing of Nod is (are) the “antagonist” of the second book in the series, a sort of pool of bacteria that gets into your brain and, bit by bit, copies the information already there to assimilate you and make you part of the hive mind. the interesting thing is that technically they can completely simulate being the person they assimilate, but they simulate it so well that they even genuinely believe they are that person

sapient fungus

First of all, sorry for my bad English

So, I'm interested in writing a fanfic but focusing on an aspect that I feel is a bit underutilized: animals with Quirks—though in this specific case of my fanfic, living beings with Quirks

Why limit ourselves to just the animal kingdom? So that’s it—I want to write a fanfic about a mushroom with a Quirk, basically creating a sentient mushroom. It would be the protagonist, and since it’s clearly not human, I’d like to play with the idea that it doesn’t understand much about us. In fact, I want it to initially think that we aren’t even conscious...

First of all, sorry for my poor English

Basically, I watched the series and I'm deeply disappointed to find that I can count the number of fanfics on the fingers of one hand,

So yeah, I want to write a crossover fanfic between *Pantheon* and two other works with a “similar” tone: *I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream* (Artificial Intelligence) and the *www.wake\* series (Emergent Intelligence). Now, unfortunately, I’m not smart enough to fully understand all the processes mentioned in these works. The tone of the fanfic leans more toward the philosophical; those who have read the other two works surely know that AM and Webmind are absolute opposites...

I'm thinking of calling the fanfic *Pantheon: Different Ways of Being God*... What do you think?
