Top is the five characters and AM giving his hate monologue (messed up)

I do wanna see more Lovecraft designs for AM, like a monster made of wires that is constantly shifting and can't maintain a solid form.

I bought this book a while ago, because I wanted to own I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream as an actual physical copy instead of those audio books. This book not only contains that short story but contains hundreds of other written works by Harlan Ellison, I can't quite recall where I bought it from or how expensive it was, but I seem to remember it being around the $100 - $200 range. There is also a 50 year retrospective, but I don't have that one yet. I don't know if this book is rare, but I know it's quite expensive. The average price I found online was about $400 - $500, so it's safe to say that it has gone up in value quite a bit. This is the only Harlan Ellison related book I have, but as I said above I am planning on buying the 50 year retrospective. You may notice on the back cover of the book it says $19.95 USD, that I assume is how expensive it was when this was first printed. Anyways, all in all it is a very good book and I highly recommend it.

Both feature characters who are alive in a constant state of agony and cannot move or talk. And both feature women who are the only one in a group of men and are violated. Both also feature unreliable paranoid narrators. Both are trapped in a place they can't escape.
