Just wanted to pop over to the sub and say while a bit intimidating at first glance, Im really enjoying the book and Im very happy with my purchase. Im only on page 35 right now and I'll be taking it slow. I also love the unusual structure with the footnotes and how the story is overall presented. I flipped through the book and saw pages where I'd have to turn the book around to read and I thought that was really interesting. I've read books like Piranesi and A Short Stay In Hell, (im sure thats not new to hear), and wanted more stories that envelops and embodies similar themes that make you think very deep on what I have just read. Stories that make you question reality and, otherworldly places that shouldn't exist but do anyway.
