Flexposts going up on Broadway in Cambridge

They are stiffer and bend less than the ones they normally loose. Bike lane is starting to look great! Now they just need some north south connections that line up with Somerville's lanes and it'll be a real network.

Goat v La Fotta Spirit Question

I'm watching the replay of Goat v La Fotta and wondering if La Fotta is known for bad spirit?

I'm genuinely unfamiliar with European ultimate but my general understanding is that US/Canadians are MORE physical and chippy than Europeans, even in high-level men's play.

Despite that though there are some TERRIBLE contest calls by La Fotta in the 2nd half (first on the jump ball in the endzone, then on the marking foul where the defender acknowledges there is contact and then contests anyway).

Is that a typical thing for this team?

Time stamps since everyone seems insistent to have them:
52:33 bad foul call by the D
1:03:05, pointless travel call
1:06:10 awful contest on a clear foul
1:15:15 marking foul where the defender agrees he bumped a thrower in the act of throwing and contests anyway.

I'd add that this was a great game and La Fotta deserved to win it, just surprised by the shitty spirit.

Bruce Freeman Rail Trail

Okay I may just be late to the party, but I finally rode on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail yesterday and it is incredible. I drover my partner (who is less comfortable riding on car roads) to West Concord where we parked and road to Sudbury then a couple miles on the Mass rail trail too. 20 miles in total. They have beautiful tree cover, safe street crossings, big clear signage, frequent benches for pedestrians and even water stations with look stands. Also because it was later in the day and overcast the trails were largely empty so we got to fly along them. Felt so much better than the Minute Man which isn't wide enough for how many people use it.

Now I'm just impatiently waiting for the missing parts of the Mass Rail Trail to connect the Charles River trail to Sudbury so I can do some awesome long routes entirely off road.
