Apparently, the first 3 episodes of Totally Spies! Season 8 have been added to the M6+ streaming service. A whole week before it premieres on TV (Gulli). The first ep is also available to watch on Gulli's YouTube channel (use a VPN if you're outside of France).

You can actually sign up to M6+ and watch the episodes officially for free. But you will however need a VPN and you will be asked for a French postal code, in which i recommend generating a fake one since it worked for me.

Here is the concept document/bible for Season 7. I’ve actually been holding onto this for a while now even since i found it in an old 4chan thread.

The properties of the file says that it was written by former head writer Michelle Lamoreaux, so her and Robert must’ve came up with all the characters and concepts for the revival. There’s also a part that mentions that Alex is indeed Latina when mentioning Toby’s heritage, who is Indian. We also get some more details about Mandy/Cyberchac.

Totally Spies! Season 8 will have 24 episodes, plus a 44 minute special episode.

TS in the past has had two-part episodes, but were never combined into specials like the S3 and S4 finales were. This is the first strictly double-length episode in the show’s history.

A promo from Fox Kids Latin America (from around 2003 or so) which I’ve never come across before. This promo surprisingly uses completely original animation. This might've been used as an early promo in other territories, since the animation feels very Season 1.

Thoughts on the soundtrack for Season 7 by Adam Baker?

I uploaded some of the tracks to my Internet Archive account a while back, which were all ripped from the Cyber Mission video game.

Definitely the strongest soundtrack since Season 3 or so. Really enjoyed the 80s synths on some of the tracks. Liked that they made motif tracks from the new theme, similar to the Here We Go motifs.

Also helps that the composer just so happens to be the son of series director, Stephane Berry (Though he is credited with the surname Baker instead of Berry).

Since it’s going to be a few more years before the next KPDH movie, i feel like TS should fill that “girl trio” gap in the public consciousness. When the original run of TS started in the early 00s, it similarly piggybacked off the success of the Charlies Angels reboot, Spy Kids and PPG. With the 25th anniversary this year, and the upcoming 8th season, we’ve been getting a lot more products and collaborations, which would definitely help boost the show’s profile.

What do you guys think?
