Keep these 2 in mind

I joined yesterday, don't expect me to have 10,000 wins
I won't have so much kills, cause I'm a defender, ik roles exist. I did carry all my 5 wins tho, with 0 - 3 other defenders who know they're a defender.

When I join the lobby, I always try to join the blue team, just my fav color. If not, I try green/yellow, my alternatives.
Once I'm in the map, I go to the generator and camp for a while. Once everyone is gone, I stay for a minute, getting extra coal and iron.
When I feel I've got enough, (70 - 100 coal, 5 - 30 iron) I go to the shop. And buy a bunch of wool & ladders. (85 - 320 wool, 10 - 30 ladders) I leave a bit of coal & iron for me to keep too.
After I've got my equipment, I put most of it in my moon chest, so nobody can steal it. I typically leave 10 - 100 wool, and 4 - 8 ladders in my inventory. I put all the coal & iron in the chest, can't really build anything with that. So now if I fall, I don't lose everything.
When I decide to start building, I always start with a rectangle/square bed defense, a big one.
Later in the round, I build a curved wall in front of the exit, so my teammates exit from the left. Then I disguise the exit, (as a bed defense) so in an attack enemies can't find the entrance. This is always a one way entrance, so we don't have ladders on the other side.
When I make an enterance, I typically make a smaller ladder passageway on the side, so the enemies don't see it.
