I have chanted Namo Amituofo daily for 4 years. And I'm really grateful to Amituofo. When I was in deep shit, I chanted and chanted and persisted my way out until I have a peaceful life. Without you I would have already killed myself. This is a compilation for you, Amituofo 💛.

In the past, whenever I watched this video, I always cried as I felt Amituofos' love towards me. He wants to save me even though I have pretty heavy bad karma and I can't even live a proper life in this Saha (enduring suffering) world.

I have made vows, unrivaled in the entire world. I will certainly reach the unsurpassed way. If these vows should not be fulfilled, may I not attain perfect enlightenment.

If I should not become a great benefactor,

in lives to come for immeasurable kaplas,

to save the poor and the afflicted everywhere,

may I not attain perfect enlightenment.

When I attain buddahood,

my name shall be heard throughout the ten quarters.

Should there be any place where it is not heard,

may I not attain perfect enlightenment.

Free of greed and with deep, perfect mindfulness and pure wisdom, I will perform the sacred practices. I will seek to attain the unsurpassed way. And become the teacher of devas and humans. I must attain perfect enlightenment.

In the future, the Buddhist scriptures and teachings will perish. But out of pity and compassion,

I especially preserve this sutra and maintain it in the world for a hundred years more.

Those beings that encounter it,

in accord with their aspirations,

will attain deliverance.

I'm forever grateful to you and I can't even fully express my endless thanks to you. You saved my life, made my life peaceful and always guided me in the right direction when I erred with the precepts.

I don't know how I was able to escape all the bad influences, gossipers and evil people who talked behind my back. Without you protecting me, I don't even know how I was able to survive alone, without anyone supporting me and the world targeting me and hating me. Whenever I go outside, people will hate me and act all sarcastic, people talk behind my back and try to harm me, People try to get rid of me and try to kill me; even my family, relatives hate me and try to kill me.

But with you, Amituofo, I was not alone. You were my guide, my path to goodness, faith in the world that there are kind people out there. You always motivated me, telling me to chant for the people who tried to kill me, telling me to chant for evil people who always want to beat and get rid of me. I was always very angry wanting revenge, but you taught me a different path, to free my mind, free myself from suffering. Even if everyone hates me, tries to kill me, and tries to harm me, I can just chant and leave this body, even if it hurts like hell, I can just chant and leave this body; all for Rebirth in the Pure Land. I am forever grateful to you as you gave me a way out of my suffering. Thank you so much and I love you.
