Need Microphone Advice

I've been using a 2011 iMac and whatever mics I could find to record for years. I finally bit the bullet and bought a brand new Macbook Air, so I at least don't have to worry about lag every two seconds.

I'd like to get a decent set of mics to go along with it, specifically one for vocals and one for guitar. My recording space is untreated and full of white noise, so I'd probably need a dynamic mic like a Shure SM7B, but I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions.

Thanks!

Any way to get a decent cello without spending an arm and a leg?

Hello!

TL;DR: Where can I get a cheap cello that doesn't suck? What brands are good?

I've been thinking about getting into cello, but (as all instruments in the violin family), the prices on these instruments are absurdly overinflated. There are the cheapy ones on Amazon, but I'm not looking to get a piece of garbage. Is there any way for me to reliably get a decent one without having to spend a grand or more? Yard sales? Furious celloists quitting their profession? Anything at all??

I'm not exactly opposed to paying $5000 dollars for a cello. I simply would prefer to eat for the next few months. Music is an expensive hobby, and any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

As for my background, I am primarily a guitarist, with significant electric bass experience and lots of experience with other instruments of the same class (mandolin, balalaika, banjo, uke, etc). I've also noodled with upright (double) bass before (obviously without a bow) and found the fretlessness of it to be intuitive. I comprehend piano (to say I'm a pianist would be insulting to pianists) and have a broad understanding of basic music theory.

I think I could learn cello. I just don't know if I can afford it.
