Today would be day 4 of training. He honestly did really well the first 3. We got a poop on the potty day 2 and most pees in the potty on day 2 and first half of 3. We took an outing day 3 in afternoon and he peed his underwear twice but did tell us potty and we just missed it. Well he spent all night up last night due to neighbors setting off mortars and woke up horrendously crabby. Wouldn’t sit on potty just asked for diaper. Peed on the floor twice and then pooped in a pull-up. Refuses to sit on potty. Do we need to take a break?

For reference - he doesn’t really tell us he needs to go that often. We just plop him on the potty every 1-2 hours. A few times he will tell us he had to pee or potty.
