Dental prices

Hi, I'm looking for a bit of feedback on prices for dental services in the valley. I have no dental plan so everything is out of pocket.

My dental team told me the price for a routine cleaning and check up is $350. Somehow I remember it to be a lot lower. So I have a few questions :

Do dentists have all have a standardized set fee or are they free to set whatever price they like ?

How does a $350 fee compared to what your dentist charges ?

Are there any dentists offering more reasonable fees for their services ?

Thanks for your perspectives.

Surgery Tools

So, I went in for knee replacement surgery last week. The type of anesthetic froze me from the waist down and made me pretty loopy, drifting in and out of consciousness.

Somewhere in the procedure I drifted in to reality and I could hear power tools running. Being pretty spaced out I told the surgeon :

" Hey, I have lots of Milwaukee cordless tools at home, if you want to borrow any".

Surgeon chuckles and says " that's OK, I'm more of a Dewalt man. "

I ponder this for a bit and tell him

" Aww that's ok, I love you anyways "

Fade to black. 🤣
