I first set up my shrine last October after finding an Aphrodite statue and some iconography of hers (the seashell dishes and some Hellenistic pillar candle holders) at my local Goodwill. Over the last year it’s become more of a household altar after someone on the main sub pointed out that having separate altars limits your practice (and it was, I wanted to branch out and worship more), but Aphrodite is featured prominently as she is the main goddess I worship 🩷 I adore this religion and its community, it’s been a wonderful year

I lucked out and found one of the couch-shaped jewelry holders at Marshall’s! They also had an armchair and a chaise, all of which would fit Blythe perfectly. Now I just gotta decorate Vera’s new room 😁

Vera accompanied me to San Diego! She loved Old Town and of course the big, comfy hotel bed. She’s super photogenic and so fun to take pictures of, I wish I had gotten more!

This is my modern AU Jinx doll made using a fake Blythe doll base. I originally planned to make her show accurate but I had fun creating her in my own way, so now she’s a modern AU girl with her own story (very similar to her Arcane story but translated for our universe). I also have an Isha I’m working on. The last pic is just another outfit I think she looks great in

I recently lost a best friendship of 15 years, my worship of Lady Aphrodite has really been helping me process it. I made this necklace inspired by her and once I get seal the knot, I’m going to properly dedicate it to her altar. She wears it beautifully 🥰
