There are a couple of GSC girls mixed in there.
Who's your favorite? I think my favorite is Lila but I also love ReeRee 🥰
Dolls are by
Lila from Kacey at DoubleTroubleDolls
Current WIP from Sarah at DoubleTroubleDolls

My first attempt at asian doll was quite successful! I love her so much 😭✨
We had a nice treat with my friend and their kirby
Drove a couple hours to support my husband at an event, and it was the perfect chance to test out Hazel's new seat. I love seeing her cute little face while driving, and thought it kind of looked like she was mid conversation.
I managed to get my paws on the discontinued Pure Neemo Flection XS body by Azone and installed a tilt neck in it. Here is a comparison shot with some other bodies.

In the spirit of many doll collectors lumping fashion dolls with a certain big head proportion and an eye-gimmick together like Pullip with Blythe, I'd like to bring some attention to Lila by Soom!
Lila was released back in around 2012 / 2013 by Soom. Soom is a well known Korean BJD brand, but they also had an attempt at releasing a "fashion doll" made of (what I believe) to be mostly ABS plastic, similar to Blythe's head.
Her eyes can move, separately.

Her head-body proportion is rather unique.

I find her face mold and makeup style to be more similar to customized Blythes than stock Blythes. She is a very interesting doll release that I think some here might like to know about!
She seems even less talked about than Tangkou, who's another gimmicky big-eyed friend of Blythe. Compare to Tangkou, I believe her MRPS was much higher. Some versions of her are still around from some independent doll retailer on the web as of right now.
She had a dedicated website that is now defunct: https://web.archive.org/web/20240421171726/https://lila.dollsoom.com/eng/index/intro.html

If you have her and would like to share a photo, or have more info you'd like to share about her, feel free to comment!
Outfit is in the works but miss tiny alien
Her makeup took me 3 days to get right. 😭❤️❤️
I changed her left facing yellow eyechips for green ones. The only spare body i had left was a Pure Neemo Advance a-type. Although i do not like this body, she got it for now - till i get her another one.
Hello everyone! I just won this beauty on whatnot and cannot find any information on the artist. I know it’s a long shot but I am hoping someone can ID her? The signature says 11 by Tanya Lima. I’d love to find her work 🥺
Hi!! 🤍
I’m here to say that we should bring back 2000s customizers and customs from the 2000s. I think that style is honestly what inspired me to start customizing my own dolls in the first place.
Despite the doll and photos here not being fully authentic (she’s a hybrid doll, so the only authentic part is her body), I hardly see this style being done anymore, or at least much less than before. Sometimes I really wish more people would go back to customizing Blythes to look more like the older authentic versions again!!!!
And that’s not me saying I hate modern customs at all!! I also customize dolls with bigger lips, dramatic eyelashes, intricate carving, and all of that. I genuinely think the evolution of this hobby is beautiful, but sometimes I really miss the older 2000s-style customs.
That’s what my recent girl in the photos was heavily inspired by. I still don’t have a name for her, but I hope to see some of y’all’s Blythe customs (fake or real) with a similar style!
Old shoes, new red bottoms! Featuring a tiny jumping friend (we weren't trying to stomp them).
I sprayed them red with vinyl paint. I'm already showing the good sides but they are a bit smudgy. Only because I did a poor job masking the edges, and I was impatient, but it was tricky with small curves!
I will be cleaning them up with more rubbing alcohol or acetone later. I don't prefer acetone even though they work the best on vinyl because sometimes they make the molding lines worse by melting the plasticizers away and make the gaps bigger.
BUT I love the saturation of the red and was surprised by it. I have no idea how long this paint will last but I'm mostly confident it should stay longer than acrylic paint. Vinyl fabric paint cans (not vinyl "wrap" paint which is different and I'm not sure how that works) can be found at automotive stores. They are meant to rejuvenate vinyl faux leather seats so the paint is a flexible film.
These shoes are supposedly dupes of Girlz by Simba Toys, which are clones of My Scene. They're from Ali!
i've been knitting mine and my friend's dolls cat bonnets 🥹 this one technically isn't for plum but of course she had to model it! her's is up next ~ pattern is fluffy cat hat for blythe by olga galkina on ravelry 💫
Some people suggested Moss Baby or emerald Baby and I also love those, even broccoli baby is cute!
