LOW BUDGET HORROR FEATURE WITH NAME ATTACHMENTS (90k secured, looking to secure 50k)

Hi there! I’m sure some of you are already familiar with this project, but we just got an awesome update so I figured I’d post again.

We just got Virginia Madsen (Michael RIP 🙏 Madsen’s sister) attached for a role in our film, and her attachment brings many benefits, including a good chance at getting into Sundance film festival (she was previously on the jury of Sundance) pending the quality of our film.

Along with Madsen, we also have Jasper Polish (an amazing actress from the show Animal Kingdom and several other films) and the beloved Charles Baker aka “Skinny Pete” attached. With majority of the funding secured, we are almost ready to go into production. We are just looking to secure another 50k, for a total budget of 140k. I’ll post some other details below.

Title: Soulbound

Genre: psychological horror

Pages: 68

Logline: To claim a $500,000 inheritance, a young
woman must survive a night beside her occult-obsessed grandmother’s grave—only
to emerge with more than what she bargained for.

Drawing inspiration from films like Hereditary, St. Maud and The Vigil, we have a script that utilizes psychological fears with a constant sense of dread.

With only 3 locations (2 houses and a cemetery) and a 7-day shoot, we are in a great position to produced a high quality feature film with a solid cast.

If you have any questions or would like to infer about our financing plan, feel free to reach out. Please understand this we are not looking for crew at this time. Thanks for your understanding.

Well, I’ve been driving for DD for about four years now, but today is the day I deactivate my account. I was going to keep it open, but for insurance purposes I can’t, so this is it.

While I won’t miss the low-paying bullshit orders or manipulative delivery tactics displayed by this greedy company, I will miss the freedom of working when I want and listening to my music/podcasts throughout the grind.

It’s a bittersweet farewell, but I have two jobs now. I work as a bellman at a high-end resort 4-5 shifts per week and I also wait tables, 2-3 shifts per week. The money is way better and hopefully my car will last me a bit longer now in the long term. I’m also a screenwriter who writes screenplays quite regularly and I currently have a few feature films in development. I’m praying and hoping that my dream will come to fruition.

Good luck everyone. There will come a day where you say enough is enough and move on to something better. If you’re an active driver, do it in the most lucrative way possible, but don’t settle for less than you deserve.
