Newly discovered wavy hair and trying to perfect my styling routine

I have recently discovered I have wavy hair. My hair has never been pin straight, but after losing half of it two years ago due to health reasons, it has grown back with a wave pattern. These pictures are after my hair has had mousse and air dried. My routine I have been doing is : After shampoo/conditioner in the shower, I lightly towel dry it and scrunch aussie mousse into it. I then let it air dry or diffuse it, depending on my time. Sometimes I use a texture spray if I want more volume/hold. On day two and after, I will wet my hair lightly and scrunch if I want my hair to look like day 1 hair, or I'll brush through it for softer waves. Is there anything else or anything different I should be doing for my hair to look it's best? Thank you in advance for your advice !
