Traded F-150 for RAV4 Prime XSE with PP

I have always been a big vehicle / truck owner, started with a lifted Jeep wrangler, then a Tacoma, then an F-150. I love the utility of trucks, but because I’m not towing anymore, the inconvenience of not being able to park in the garage, paying hundreds a month in gas, and never fitting in parking spots was just not worth keeping the truck anymore.

I wanted to get something that still had plenty of cargo space since this is our primary vehicle, still had power because I really enjoyed driving the truck (twin turbo v6), and was able to drive full electric since we do a lot of city driving. Man this car has exceeded my expectations. XSE + PP adds so many nice features that I never would have thought I’d use, and the overall driving experience is so comfortable and fun.

I will miss the convenience of being able to throw anything in the bed of the truck and not worry about it, but that’s about it. I am enjoying everything else about this car way more.

New homelab

I’ve had a homelab for a while, but never had the space for an actual rack. Just recently moved into a new home that had this wide open closet, so I ran all the cat6 from the panel in the laundry room into this closet and put all my gear into a rack. Super happy with how it turned out

Arista ACE L5 or straight for L7?

For context, I spent a few years in Cisco TAC on the data center route/switch team where I got my CCNP DC cert, and I now work for a large enterprise where I work on an Arista VXLAN fabric with AVD and cloudvision. I was planning on taking the ACE L5 exam, but I’m wondering if it makes more sense to go straight for the L7 instead.

For anyone who’s gone through the ACE track, would you recommend doing L5 before L7, or is it reasonable to jump straight to L7 with my experience?
