MobileMeAccounts.plist rm'd from macOS 27

..meaning that a Jamf EA parsing that plist to determine if a user is signed into an iCloud account won't work with GG.

Anyone have a replacement?

Sequoia holdouts, are you waiting for release, or did the public beta convince you?

M4 Pro 14" still on 15.7.7 - Tahoe daily driver and test machines are all fine, but Tahoe is still just such a hot mess in so many small ways..

But GG beta 4 and PB 2 on a test M1 Pro and M3 have me thinking it might be time.

Remotely gathering and diagnosing Mac networking

My org has Nexthink, which is quite powerful - but after a recent chat with another admin I realized that I hadn't ever updated any Jamf scripts since before the deprecation of of the `airport` binary.

So what's your go-to for retrieving networking diagnostics via Jamf, or do you just ask the users to option-click on their Wi-FI icon and go from there?

Where do you put version numbers in your Self Service policies?

Self Service+ (SSP) has a slightly different layout than can obscure longer version strings. Before my org transitions from classic, thought I'd ask:

App Name and Version - button is action only ('install')
App Name - button contains version ('install 1.122.0')
App Name - button is action only - version is in the description ('click here to install v1.122.0 which contains important bug fixes' blah blah)

`pybin` crashes reported on macOS

Recently, a subset of my Mac fleet have started reporting crashes of the `pybin` binary located in:

%System%/tanium/taniumclient/python38/bin/pybin

The affected devices seem to have been older builds, probably upgraded at least 1-2 major OS versions and assorted Tanium versions.

Devices with a newer version of the Tanium client do not report the same crashes (ie, python312)

Can this be remedied from the Tanium console? Does the older client need to be uninstalled before applying the latest Tanium package? Tell my number-go-up type management to disregard?
