I graduated 3.5 years ago into the bad tech job market and decided since I cant find a job I will make apps and try to monetize them, but im finally starting to lose motivation. Everytime i open my code editor now i feel like im procrastinating not working. It feels as if i turned on my xbox to game and after working 8 hours I feel like I acomplished zero and wasted a day of my life. Is this a worry that after almost 8 years I will have not earned one cent from programming and will never earn one cent. How do you guys stay motivated?

My Nmom started therapy a year ago and I didnt get excited because I knew exactly where it would lead, she sat there for a year lying to the therapist and playing the victim so the therapist gave her completly wrong advice and her narcisism is getting even worse. Did this happen to anyone else?
