EB I-485 transferred to Manchester FO (May 2026) – anyone seeing recent movement?

Closing the loop on our family's I-485 journey after almost four years of waiting.

I-485 filed: Oct 20, 2022

Applicants: Principal + spouse + child

Timeline:

- Oct 20, 2022 – I-485s filed

- Nov 2022 – Biometrics completed

- 2023/2024 – Cases moved to CRP due to visa unavailability

- May 2026 – Cases transferred from NBC to Manchester Field Office

- Aug 7, 2026 – Medical RFEs issued for all three applicants

- Aug 11 – Physical RFE notices dated

- RFE was only for expired I-693 medicals; no other evidence requested

- Completed new medicals/vaccinations and mailed three separate sealed I-693 responses

- Aug 14, 2026 at 8:41 AM EDT – UPS delivered the RFE packages to Bedford, NH

- 9:49 AM – Principal: New Card Is Being Produced

- 10:11 AM – Spouse: New Card Is Being Produced

- 10:23 AM – Child: New Card Is Being Produced

All three cases went into card production within approximately 1 hour 42 minutes of the RFE package reaching the USCIS front desk.

After years of CRP, checking case status, service requests, congressional inquiry, field-office transfer, visa-number uncertainty and finally the medical RFE, it ended incredibly quickly once USCIS received the last required evidence.

Final status: All three green cards approved / cards being produced – August 14, 2026.

For anyone still waiting in CRP: every case is different, but sometimes the case really is sitting there waiting for one final item. Keep your documents ready, respond to RFEs quickly, and don't lose hope because of a long period with no visible movement.

I'm an EB-1C India applicant with I-485 filed in October 2022 (PD Aug 2022).

My case was in CRP status in March 2023 and received another CRP update in July 2024. After a service request and congressional inquiry, USCIS indicated that my family's I-485 cases were transferred from NBC to Manchester Field Office around May 4, 2026.

Since the transfer:

• No RFE
• No approval
• No interview
• Emma says cases are "under processing" and no evidence is outstanding

What's interesting is that nearby receipt numbers in my block have recently received medical RFEs, and most cases around my receipt number appear to have been adjudicated already.

Has anyone with an employment-based I-485 at Manchester FO recently:

1. Received a medical RFE after transfer from NBC?
2. Been approved without an RFE?
3. Seen how long Manchester FO took after receiving the file?

Would appreciate any recent Manchester FO timelines, especially for employment-based cases transferred in 2026.

• 05/04/2026 – Cases apparently transferred from NBC to Manchester FO
• May–June 2026 – Emma agents continue saying NBC/no movement
• 06/04/2026+ – Helpful Emma agent reviews all three receipts and says family cases moved to Manchester FO on May 4
