I’ve been hosting a site (rejectionwiki.com) at dreamhost for quite a while, but it seems like I’ve been getting steadily degrading service over the years to the point where the site is often unreachable. Does anybody have a hosting service they like? I get about 10K page views per month and would like to keep the cost under $8/month which is about what I get from the google ads that run on the site so I’m not losing money providing the service. The vast majority of users are based in the US.

I’m a big user of Leuchturm 1917 notebooks and I noticed that they have an option to add (for a somewhat outrageous fee) a printed text on the cover. It is, of course, also ugly looking.

But then it occurred to me that I’ve got a Linotype slug with “D. A. Hosek” on it and it occurred to me that I could probably use this with the transfer tape whose name I can’t remember the name of because (a) it’s thirty plus years since I took a bookbinding class and (2) I never actually used it.

So can anyone point me at what I’m looking for (and let me know if I’m insane for thinking that I could use a Linotype slug with this—I have a vague notion that my instructor might have had special types for doing cover printing.
