THIS is going in my top 3 favourite bl’s of 2026, this was INCREDIBLE. down to the cinematography, the concept, the characters, THE ACTING. i felt every emotion that ollie and li shuyuan portrayed 😭 it felt like i was watching just genuine talent shine through, i feel like there very few that can pull of a series with a unique concept such as this?! THE CHEMISTRYYYYYYY quite literally radiating off the screen these two omg 😭 PLEASE can we get another series with them, i’m on my knees 🥹 you can tell this series took a lot of effort to execute tbh, also the nc scenes were PERFECTION it takes a lot of effort to do many scenes like that, it didn’t feel chucked in for the sake of keeping us invested but the characters grew emotionally as the series went on and each scene just felt more passionate than the previous ones ❤️ i feel like my head is so scrambled, this series is very rewatchable so i WILL be watching it again in future. and also one more thing is i was a boys planet watcher and i was STUNNED at how well ollie performed as zhen xin 10/10 !!!!! he was born to perform, what a talented boy i’m so proud of him and i really hope he takes up more acting roles (bl or non-bl i will be SAT).

i’ve been a little bit of a BL slump as i binged quite a few earlier this year, this is the first series that i’ve felt excited to watch in a while!! i did watch uppoom’s first series together (my stand in) which i was unsure of at the start but ended up throughly enjoying when i got to the end.

it’s taken me by surprise only bc i was expecting the typical rich boy x poor boy romance but i’m really LOVING the whole sub-plot of the people going missing and up’s character trying to solve it as well as poom’s character trying to navigate the difficult relationship with his mum and feeling the burden of trying to support his family whilst sacrificing his happiness and future. both these characters feel so selfless and i’m just really impressed that it’s a lot deeper and not so surface level :) i think episode 4 is airing next (???) so we’re still very early in but just a quick recommendation for anyone else who’s considering watching 🩷

bonus points for hot shirtless men and sexy dancing …. i literally can’t take my eyes off poom OH MYYYY he’s absolutely gorgeous 🫠
