I hear Player (if you know you know)

but also from the album I’d say Sweet Baby or the climax of And God Created Woman. Yours?

It’ll always be “I Wanna Be Your Lover” for me but lately, the guitar riff from “It’s Gonna Be Lonely” pops up. Sometimes “When We’re Dancing Close and Slow”.

I Would Die 4 U for me, but that’s because it’s tied for my favorite song by him. What’s yours?

SO I FINALLY PLAYED AND..

I started with this series when I was 8 years old, so when SR2022 came and the reviews were terrible it felt weird because I still had the desire to play it, but I wasn’t in a rush. FINALLY PLAYING IT, it was bad, but, still strangely very good??? I actually haven’t been able to stop playing it.

The story, dialogue (within the main story), character personalities and just characters in general are terrible to me. I mean, I like the Nahualli more than I liked my own character, he may be one of my favorite characters in any of the games and he was underutilized. But overall a lot of the games feels Very cringey or just corny. The whole “FRIENDSHIP RULES!” feeling is pretty blah, especially when I think they executed phenomenal friendship arcs with Johnny, Shaundi, Pierce, even Carlos without it feeling forced or corny in earlier games. And then eventually I started playing while intentionally blocking out that it was called Saints Row and it’s very enjoyable. Maybe it should have just been its own thing and not named after the classic franchise. OUTSIDE of a bunch of the story, the general gameplay is sweet. I give it a 5/10. A TINY bit overhated but perfectly understandable lol
