I am playing few sessions in, currently at 850 population. Pretty balanced town so far, nothing exported frequently, nor imported.

I have a 80 man defense force, 2x 30-spearmen with leather armor and 1x 20-men shortsword leather armor unit

All of a sudden im extorted by a HUNDRED AND TWENTY MEN raider army, all with short swords and iron armor.

How the HELL do i survive their presence?

Im thinking of giving up on their demands for now to win some time, but even so, how the hell do i prepare for the battle with them that will eventually happen?

What equipment to prioritise and prepare till then? How many dudes do i recruit? Do i build walls around the town?
