So I just brought home a brand new tidal 110. Put it together and put it in the tank, and it’s not sucking anything up the pick up tube??? I am purposely sifting up fish poo and debris right in front of the tube, and it’s not doing a dang thing. Has anyone experienced this?? I set it to max flow, minimum flow, nothing. Messed with the other dial that controls the skimmer or whatever, nothing. All the debris is remaining suspended right by the intake. With my aqua clear 70 you can clearly see debris get sucked right into the intake. This is so weird, I’ve never seen anything like it. Am I missing something???? PLEASE HELP or this piece of crap is going back! I know it’s a good filter, why is it doing this????
