Lost center of gravity
Hello. New here, I was discharged from the hospital 3 weeks ago. I had level 1 sepsis with a lung abscess caused by pneumonia.
Now that I'm home and on the mend, I've had a lot of trouble getting up. It feels like my center of gravity changed and/or I'm pushing against an invisible force. It's mostly effecting my right leg, it's as if it is not getting signals from my brain.
Additionally, I have fallen 5x and each time could not get up by myself. I don't know if this is just my life now or if it changes in the future. I know muscular atrophy is to be expected but why would it only be one leg and not both?
Not sure where to go from here, my lower legs and feet are also swollen to the max but the pulmonologist just had me checked for blood clots and didn't seemed concerned? The tightness is painful.
I'm just lost and feel like I'm falling apart. I also feel like it's my fault because I didn't go to the Dr sooner.
