Let’s play a game (inspired by Queen Bey’s fans)!! DAY 1- which track from Opus Eponymous sounds like Opus Eponymous? READ CAPTION

for 81 days Beyoncé fans were playing a game on their subreddit, choosing which track from her every other album sounds like any other album. the results and conversations were very interesting to read, considering how diverse her discography is, spanning from RnB and Reggae, through Hip-hop, Chillwave and Country, to Rock, Trap and Power ballads. i created a table like that for Ghost’s discography. Every day we’re gonna be choosing ‘which track from X sounds like Y’. Today we’re gonna choose and vote which track from Opus Eponymous sounds like it belongs on Opus Eponymous the most. Tomorrow- which track from OE sounds like Infestissumam the most. And so on 👻💀🐝
Comment your tracks suggestions, upvote or downvote each other if you agree or disagree respectfully.

Vibraslap songs?

It dawned on me today Driving home from work with Umbra on that, besides the intro to Crazy Train, I’ve never heard any other Metal/Rock song use one. Or any song for that matter that I’m aware. Kind of interesting. Any songs ya’ll know of that use one?

Thought my Papa V plush could use some curls

Made some crocheted curls and tucked them under the miter to give Papa a fresh look.

Well well well, if it that doesn't sound familiar...

A Parade of Horribles spoiler

I already knew Matt Dinniman was a Ghost fan, and I'm so happy he referenced them here (and there seems to be a little V Easter egg too in that vehicle name in image 2?). Shout out to the amazing bittermarch who told me to keep an eye on the book when it was released :)

I love that a) that karaoke song might be a cover Matt Dinniman would like to see (I would agree Ghost would make a killer cover of it), and b) he fucking put this Minister Papa in a Wienermobile lol.

Edit: guys, it's not that deep. If I wanna read about a talking cat with a dinosaur pet and a perpetually pantless man's adventures I'm not gonna demand a Hemingway level of writing. I want some fucking greasy French fries with artery-blocking toppings and already know I'm not getting that in a Michelin star restaurant: I gotta go find the guy with a shady food truck who knows his thing. I don't have to only consume media I'd give a 10/10 to 100% of the time, in my case that's just like with... Ghost. 🤷

So yeah, chill a little and enjoy a fellow Ghost fan putting a character inspired by them in his latest book.

My Walmart order got delivered to the wrong address. Turns out that other address happened to be a Ghost fan.

So quick little storytime if you care. We placed an order today and we usually don't do this very often but decided we didn't want to go to town so let's do a delivery order! We get the email saying our order has been delivered but literally nothing was on the porch.

BLASPHEMY! HERESEY!

In our small village in Ohio we have an East and a West that's one LONG STREET but the SAME address numbers. So once in a Hunter's Moon we might get our deliveries switched between the houses. My first guess was right after driving down the road it's at the other address and our groceries are on the steps. I decided to knock on the door before people think we were porch pirates or something and out of the corner of my eye I spotted a Grucifix.

"OH look there Ghost fans, they'll understand!" Today I also happened to wear my Skeletá shirt. As soon as I said that the door opens and boom. This man with a luscious gray beard and a Ghost shirt opens the door and just says "Hey." I explained what happened and he goes "Yeah no problem. You paid for it, it's yours."

Well shit. Just like I thought. No questions asked, cool as can be and we went on our way.

What a coincidence that we would have almost the exact same address in the same small village in Ohio and happen to be Ghost fans who proudly represent the Clergy. So thank you random or not so random Ghost fan. Also I feel like he represents the greatest parts of the fandom.

That's it that's my Ghost story.

Also screw you Walmart for funnsies.

Someone requested some evil looking Papa I on my Strawpage... I indulged 👹 art by me

For context, Strawpage is a page where you can send and receive anonymous messages and/or drawings and I use it as request askbox

Here’s a prompt I sketched in between commissions, featuring my sister of sin and a very angry looking Papa Primo. I think he is perfect for anything horror adjacent within the ghost universe heheh

finally got the tattoos ive been planning!

ghost is my special interest and ive stalled getting tattoos related to it because i always wanted something Perfect. i got my mum into ghost, and shes my best friend in the entire world, and life eternal is her favourite song— so i thought lyrics would be perfect and personal :) and the grucifix will be matching with her.

tldr, i love ghost and i love my mama.

Took my son to his first show(s).

Totally forgot to share these photos of my son dressed as Papa V when my wife and I took him to his first show seeing ghost on Feb 21 and 23. He got really into Ghost and Papa V is his favorite so he dressed up for the shows. To say he had fun would be an understatement. Oh yeah, that is not me as Papa in the last picture.

Infestissuamum Appreciation

Hey all!

Just thought I'd ramble while it's on my mind.

Originally I was not taken with Infestissuamum on my first or even second listen through of the album on my journey of discovery.

Although Year Zero is easily in my top 5 Ghost songs of all time (it's so perfect) the rest of it never spoke to me. I mainly got the album to complete my collection and to have Year Zero on vinyl.

But recently I've found myself listening to it more on my vinyl listening sessions and have found myself really resonating with a few songs I didn't resonate with originally which I see as a really lovely thing!

Jigolo Har Meggido, Monstrance Clock & Body and Blood have found their way into my music rotation strikingly more. They're all so different but so appealing.

I'm glad I have it in my collection 😊

I think it happens to a lot of people where we don't necessarily vibe with something immediately but after coming back to it or hearing it again randomly we see a different side of it and appreciate it's difference.

I remember not liking The Future Is A Foreign Land on my first few times around. It was too different than the rest of Ghost's music (insane, I know!) But now it's a song I find myself wanting to sing at the top of my lungs with tears running down my face! Funny how that happens, haha.

Now I'm curious!!

Come together, together as one (😉) and tell me are there any songs you all were not keen on at first but became one of your favourites later on?😃
