Struggling to solve CP-31 questions
I’m a beginner in competitive programming and I’ve been solving Codeforces problems for quite some time. I’m able to solve many regular 1000-rated problems, but when it comes to the 1000-rated problems from the CP-31 sheet, I struggle a lot.
Whenever I look at the solutions, the ideas feel very “out of the box” and difficult to think of on my own. Is this normal for beginners? Am I lacking in problem-solving skills, observation, or pattern recognition?
