Any Cloud and DevOps Engineers here? Looking to upskill and switch.

I'm looking to upskill myself for a switch in my career but every review I see on the current learning platforms are leading to two answers - Either "They aren't worth for the price" or "They are scam".

I have 8 years of experience in support function currently working as a Technical Support Engineer. I'm good at what I do but I still feel like my current position is pretty bad for the experience I carry. I'll be glad if there is anyone whom I can connect with over a coffee and have a conversation to get the gist of the Cloud and DevOps

Let's step out, socialize and connect

Today is my day-off so a long weekend ahead of me. I'm looking to step out and socialize. I'd be glad if I could find people who are like-minded and fun going.

About me:

I'm 29 year old living in Seethammadhara, working in a support function remote role for a software company. Being in a remote role really makes it tough to socialize, so I'm just out in the wind solo queuing here on my own. I have great passion for tech and computers, and have some interests like playing video games, chess and such. Video games help me connect with my nerdy friends, but I'd like to keep that aside for a while so I can stop staring at my monitor to give some rest to my eyes and figure out how I can socialize with people for real.

Im pretty much occupied in the weekdays but it's really tough on weekends. I'm looking for like-minded people whom I can connect, bore each other, hangout, hit the theatres, cafes, breweries and explore (within Vizag of course, or maybe we can plan a budget trip?). Don't mistake me, I can do any roadside bar and restaurant as well, haha.

If you’re a working professional around my age (or anyone who can relate), feel free to DM or comment. Let's grab a coffee or a beer.

I started connecting with fellow redditors and it's been a good experience so far, but I would like to make some friends whom I can vibe with, have meaningful conversations, hangout, hit the theatres, cafes, breweries and explore the earth (within Vizag of course, or maybe we can plan a budget trip?). Don't mistake me, I can do any roadside bar and restaurant as well, haha. I’ve tried the community meetups, but I’m really looking for a smaller, more consistent vibe whom I can chill out (secrct secret, I'm a good old passion guy believes in natural connections more than paid meetups, sorry and not sorry).

If you’re a working professional around my age (or anyone who can relate), feel free to DM or comment. Let's grab a coffee or a beer and see if the vibe check passes.

Does anyone here have a damaged/defective GameSir Nova 2 Lite?

I'm hoping if anyone could ship their damaged/defective GameSir Nova 2 Lite. My RT button damaged and the controller is just collecting dust (got the G7 Scout).

Maybe I could switch it with yours or if you want mine for your missing piece? Just lmk. I can ship it to you. It's barely used other than RT button thrust humping.

I tried reaching out to support but mine doesn't have warranty because I purchased it from third party.

Ok I thought of going to the Bolly Skool event in Yendada, have beer and some pizza but then I'm realising that I'm slowly losing myself to the boredom and loneliness going to restobars, cafes and trying fancy foods by myself.

It's been a while so I'm thinking of going to the beach, enjoy the breeze and sit there for a while eating MuriMixture. And I also think that a good movie later wouldn't be a bad idea to finish a weekend.

How would you like to spend a weekend? What do you think?

Lmk if you'd like to join. I'm 28M.
