i need packing tips

i probably need a better bag to leave with, something comfortable and easy to carry. i only really want to keep one bag on my at all times, and maybe a sling of sorts, if it's not too bulky. what are the absolute essentials that i should be packing?

i already know to bring hygiene stuff, my identification, money, something for self defense, water bottle(s), a burner phone, and maybe some extra clothes. there are some things that i really want to bring, like my journal, a small sketchbook, a few pictures, and my music stuff (it shouldn't take up too much space)

still not sure where to go, but if anyone wants to leave w me feel free to reach out

i need to get out of this place

hi im 16 years old and i never thought i'd be using reddit, but here i am. i am so desperate i need to get out, i've already made up my mind on it. i live in canada rn, and i want to find a place in a different province, that way i dont have to deal with the border. i could go to america or somewhere in europe, but none of these options are truly better than the others, since i dont have a place to stay. i have lots of money, but not enough to pay rent for longer than a couple months. i need help, advice, or any info that anyone could have. i also have some more specific questions:

how strictly do they typically check people in train stations?

what does the daily routine of a runaway look like?

where should i get food from?

+ anything else you might deem important....
