Trying to understand my cadence
Hi so i recently took up running after being in the gym for over 4 years. Im looking to lose some weight and hopefully run a decent 5 and 10k.
What i wanted to ask is that my runs usually go at around 150 spm cadence when im pushing myself and around 140-145 on my easy pace. I am 187 cm in height and like 108 kgs currently. So is my cadence okay for someone who is starting out or do i need to focus on reducing my stride length to get it to 180. I dont feel like im over striding most of the time. But everywhere i look online it says 150 spm is too low.
Any insight is appreciated.
