Ugh. Ironclad’s crappy block falling short. Again.

Ugh. Ironclad’s crappy block falling short. Again.

Smh typical ironclad run. I mean seriously, how am I supposed to even get a win with this character when I’m practically forced to take chip damage every single turn? It’s ridiculous. And then they nerf Colossus? Enough is enough.

“Enjoy your paltry 6HP heal after combat”
“Here, take an exorbitantly expensive rare block power never get to play”
“Want some block? Sorry, gotta pay precious HP for that”

I can’t be the only one out there feeling this design choice is extremely unfair and biased against the player, right?

The true test of unity and justice

Okay last one, this is getting old quick.

Empathy, altruism, faith in the goodness of humanity, unwillingness to contribute to the death of others, and the desire to prevent tragedy have all been staple motivations described by the cohort of blue button pressers.

However, in this scenario, the gold button brings an entirely new source of motivation: justice, security for the future, righteous outrage, and revenge. The truest evil in these scenarios comes not from the choices of the trapped individuals, but from whoever is responsible for kidnapping everyone in the world (children included!) and putting them into these sick, twisted games.

Here, humanity has an opportunity to ensure everyone’s survival while simultaneously punishing whoever is responsible and ensure nothing like this could happen again. But the threshold for success is high.

What button would you press?

The true test of selflessness

In this scenario, the purple button represents the ultimate sacrifice, potentially guaranteeing the survival of everyone else at the cost of your own life.

What button would you choose? How many of you out there are willing to die to ensure everyone else survives?

In this situation, incompetent actors are not included as this makes it more interesting to discuss (no children, no people in comas or anyone else incapable of understanding the terms).

Purple button pressers are obviously killed via trolley.

Which button would you press? How many psychos are out there pressing green? This alternate scenario takes into account the all-too-often real influence a small group of bad actors can have in society.

Edit: does your answer change if incompetent actors are removed from the scenario?
