Marstek Venus E 3.0 – sudden SOC jump from 57% to 100%

Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed something strange with my Marstek Venus E 3.0 and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Today the SOC was slowly increasing as expected and reached around 57%. Then, within about 2 minutes, it suddenly jumped straight from 57% to 100%. You can see it pretty clearly in the screenshots.

There’s obviously no way the battery actually charged by 43% in two minutes, so it looks like the BMS suddenly recalculated or corrected the SOC.

The battery is about 2 months old and I haven’t noticed such a big jump before.

Has anyone else with a Venus E / Venus E 3.0 had this happen? Is this a known BMS/SOC calibration issue?

Did it sort itself out after a few full charge/discharge cycles, or is there anything I should do to recalibrate it?

Thanks!

Vielen Dank vorab!
