Like in CF i do not think the game went out of its way to down right tell you if the casualties were gonna be worth it (it left it as something for you to decide) i know that SB and CF edelgard are practically the same (and i love the both of them) but seeing as she legits fulfills her goals in both golden wildfire and Scarlet blaze as well her destroying TWSD early on rather than later + this and other dialogues.

it feels like it paints her in a less morally devious light and like the narrative itself would support her? (compared to three houses where if the route was not CF the game would try its best to portray her as the villain)

The matches were arranged by me and pav with the dates likewise set by us! the First rounds shall take place across the first half of july and it kicks off in July 4th! (weird cause neither of us is american but whatever) Prepare accordingly follow the rules and have fun!

So just to recapitulate

Church is gone

Crest system is gone

the nobility system is gone

and TWSD are also destroyed (confirmed by the jeritza ending and this one too)

It straight up seems to me she and byleth fixed every single problem with society, stabilized it and then (judging by her own words and other edelgard related endings) she abdicates and leaves a stable goverment with strong reforms on the hands of a fitting succersor.

so why exactly is this not. you know the perfect ending? i searched for the rest and honestly DImitri never deals with TWSD or reforms the nobility system (just the church and he remains king) so hes bound to get hit with duzcur 2.0 or even nuked if shambala was never discovered or assaulted.

Claude fumbled so badly that even after assaulting shambala TWSD managed to almost take over fondlan AGAIN and he and almyra had to come save them (not a good long term strategy tbh not every Almyrian king will back fondland up)

and the Silver snow ending just leaves an inmortal ruler in charge which is how we got in this mess in the first place.

Honestly seems to me Edelgard gave the best possible future for fondland?

In the gundam universe theres this thing called newtypes which are basically just evolved humans the Alex Gundam was the first gundam made specifically for one of this newtypes and who was the first hero in the top 10 (that we know of) that had a suit of armor? Luo Li! its only fair the first hero is the one to get the first suit made for Newtypes or maybe..for a new type of heroine?
