Why isn't my reel doing ANYTHING for me? Or is it good and the industry that's tanking?

What is NOT WORKING here? Or is it fine and I am just paranoid?
Like many editors, I've had a rough couple years. I used to get steady work from Paramount, CBS and Lionsgate as well as Unscripted shows and docs. Even trailers and YT content. But now it's like a barren wasteland where only those willing to work for peanuts get hired and all the senior crews are locked in their shows with no room for new talent.
Anyway... I am avails and oh so good. Thanks Reddit fam

Psychic Zero Animation - underground comedy / fantasy

On his 21st birthday, George Zupperman was just a beer-swilling slacker staring across the flat Illinois farmland, wondering if his life would ever mean anything. Then his psychic powers woke up — and something on the other side felt it.

First 5 pages of a horror-comedy comic about the world’s worst psychic. Please look at my weird little guy.

Okay so this is “Psychic Zero.” The premise is basically: what if you lived in the middle of nowhere and all you had to do was drink but then discovered you and your family have psychic powers that attract interdimensional creatures that want to eat your brain…

I draw it in pen and ink because I apparently enjoy suffering and hate the “undo” button. It’s meant to be funny first and unsettling second, though depending on the page that ratio flips without warning.

These are the first five pages. I’ve been sitting on this thing for a while, tweaking panels at 1am and telling myself it’s “not ready,” which is a lie I tell about everything I make. So I’m just posting it. Rip the bandaid off.

Would genuinely love feedback — pacing, whether the jokes land, whether the horror lands, whether you’d read more or whether you’d politely close the tab. All of it’s useful. Roast me gently, I bruise like a peach.

So I made this one back in the day and found it on my shelf and was like dude this should be a TV show.
