i had an arcteryx hat with a buckle-style back that flew off when i went over a bridge 😭
even the nike hat i have with a velcro back starts to lift off with a bit of wind
any recommendations for a five-panel hat which will stay firmly on my head?
hi!! i'm jay, 29M, relocating from virginia to nyc on june 1st.
software engineer, work from home, looking for a room in the general area of ridgewood, bed-stuy, williamsburg, bushwick, greenpoint, etc. (open to other spots in that general zone).
a bit about me: currently, i help run a pop-up cinema on the side, often go to movies and shows, read (mostly poetry and short fiction), and play music (mostly open mics). would love to find someone like-minded and with similar interests so we could hang out, but at a minimum, i'd be ok with being ships in the night. as long as we don't get in each other's way - keeping a consistently clean apt, etc. - that works for me.
i work from home 9–5 so i'll need reasonable quiet during the day and space in the room for a desk (or somewhere in the apt). no pets, but no strong preferences on yours.
