Why start mains in the middle if the frame bends?

Frames bend and become smaller as you tighten more strings against it. So theoretically the first strings you put on the frame will lose the most tension from the frame shrinking, and generally those are the strings in the middle of your sweet spot. Isn’t this suboptimal?

Thoughts?

How can I prevent image retention on idle monitors in multi monitor setup?

I'm noticing image retention on monitors where I may be keeping a browser open while I work (or game) on another monitor. Wondering what other people do to prevent this?
