I recently registered a CVR so that I could do some freelance work on the side. I was wondering if any of you experienced receiving calls from phone and power companies offering you discounted rates and claiming that you can file these as expenses to your company? I am new to this and I wonder if I am even allowed to file it as an expanse since I have a solo proprietorship CVR. What do these companies get out of it?

As the title states, I recently registered an enkeltmandsvirksomhed / sole proprietorship after receiving my permanent residence. I am working for a company but I have been contacted by a startup to do freelance consultancy on a project. I would like to provide freelance consultancy to this startup but I would like to know if anyone here is doing the same and could give me some guidance as well as what lesson they have learned. I understand that I will have to pay 41% of the income as tax but that is fine as long as I get constant work. I am hoping that if the side gig continues that I will become a full time consultant.

I have opened a business account and will be invoicing the client. Danish taxes are hard to understand so if there is anything that I should be aware of then please share.

I had a dream about my ex-fiancée last night and I wanted to ask what people think it means.

A bit of context: we were together for 2 years and engaged for 1 year. Our wedding was fully planned, guests invited, everything arranged. Then 3 days before the wedding, she called it off and left. It has been around 8 months now and we have had no contact. She never really tried to repair things or revisit the decision.

The dream was strange because it felt very peaceful and intimate.

We were lying next to each other on our stomachs, side by side, probably watching TV together. My hand was resting on her waist. In the dream, I told her “I wanted to spend our old age together.”

After I said that, she started talking and defending herself, almost like she was explaining why things happened the way they did. But I could not understand what she was saying because I looked away while she was speaking.

When I woke up, I felt heavy. Sad.

I still think about her every day. I still do not fully understand why she left, especially because it happened when I had just lost my job due to tech layoff and was already under a lot of stress dealing with the wedding. She ghosted me for 12 days leaving me worried and unhappy.
