People’s lack of basic consideration today really grossed me out

took some friends to Sequoia today and the behavior around General Sherman was honestly awful. saw multiple people carving into trees, big groups ducking under fences and stomping all over the roots even though the signs are right there, and cars parked where it clearly says not to, creating blind spots and blocking stuff off. other visitors were yelling at them to stop and they’d just ignore it like nothing was happening. I haven’t been to Sequoia in years and usually avoid the super touristy spots, so idk if this is just how it is now, but I left feeling really sad and embarrassed by how entitled and careless people were being.
