Batteries in VITEK 2 DensiChek

Hi everyone! Is anyone in this group still using the battery-powered VITEK 2 DensiChek turbidity meter for McFarland standardization?

We are still using this model in our lab, but I’ve noticed that it consumes batteries quite quickly. The Panasonic batteries we use start to run low in less than 3 months.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue? What brand of batteries are you using, and how long do they typically last? I’d appreciate it if you could share your experience. Thank you!
