This random case has hidden cartridge holder slots

Bought this case from Temu 2 years ago, the article description didn’t mention this but you can store up to 2 cartridges in the case. I discovered it randomly
What a nice feature!

Fixing bright pressure spots on 3DS XL top screen

I think I have to put this here for future reference because I couldn’t find anyone mentioned this method while searching for a fix.

I tried to put screen protector on the top screen of my 3DS XL, and naively I applied too much pressure to remove screen protector bubbles. Unfortunately the screen appeared a huge bright pressure spot, clearly visible against bright-colored or white background. It doesn’t affect gameplay, but it was annoying.

It seems like the LCD panel and the outer layer were compressed by the pressure of my finger. I tried “massaging” the screen, blowing it with hair-dryer (don’t) but none worked.

So I use a small suction cup (the one used to lift phone screens) and gently pull the screen up to release pressure and it worked! The spot became “thinner” and now it almost invisible.

Disclaimer: this issue is annoying but minor, it cannot magically fix bent LCD panel or structural damage

TLDR: using suction cup can remove bright pressure spots on LCD screen

Switch Lite Timmy&Tommy Edition

Not really into Nintendo ever since Gameboy Advance era. I bought this bundle of Animal Crossing Switch Lite + case for 200€ almost 3 years ago thinking it’s just a turquoise Switch with extra AC shit (it is). I planned to mod it, do shell swap or even OLED mod, or just wait for price to go up and sell it. But I’ve done none of those things because it was so beautiful IRL.

I’ve spent hundred of hours on it playing Hades, Hollow Knight, Nier Automata, Pokemon FireRed and even bought a New 3DS XL because I’ve missed too many good games during DS/3DS era. And also current gen handheld gaming is not so handheld-friendly.

I will definitely buy Switch 2 Lite version 👌
