Hey there,

I got this virgin mary tattoo on the inside of my arm 2 weeks ago and I am really regretting it (even though I had it in my drafts for over 2 years…) I have the feeling that its way to present and also ruining the flow of my backside ornamental tattoo which I really like.

I got one more session left to add ornametals around the portait & heart, but Im not sure atm if I should proceed or stop it here and directly move on to a cover up or even lasering it.

Is it possible to cover it up? If so what would be designs that could work out? Could ornametals cover it up? Or do you think it will all just make it worse?

2 weeks ago I got this virgin mary/madonna portrait. Had these kind of portraits very repeatingly in my drafts for nearly 2 years and was very confident about getting it one day. I am not very religious but liked the meaning behind it - like family, hope, comfort, protection.

Now I am here… Regretting getting it (especially the size and that the face is such a big gap now without ink) I got baroque ornamentals on the outside, which I really like and now I am thinking I should have gotten it on the inside as well, so that it all looks more „fluent“.

Its both from the same artist.

Its not complete yet, we got another session for baroque ornamentals around the design to connect the back and front…

How do you perceive it? Design wise, size, placement, quality?

What are your comments on my thoughts.

Would there be a chance to cover it with ornamentals? Or other ideas which would help?
