I owed over $6k last year (first time filing in many years as I was previously non-resident). I expected to have to pay instalments for Q3/Q4 but I haven’t received a reminder (nothing in my CRA account). Is it worth calling CRA? If I don’t get a reminder am I still obligated to pay the instalments? Do I just pay 25% of last year’s tax owing in each of Q3 and Q4 (or would it be 50% per quarter)?

I’d think if you are buried with them, no capital gains. In general, I’d think gold teeth are like prosthetics, and considered part of the body. But if you do extract them and sell them, I’d think that’d be taxable. But who owes the tax, the estate or the recipient?
