The backstory, this machine had something happen to an axis control daughter board , and the PMC daughter board both have been replaced but I still can’t load the ladder I tried from NCboot and all I/O + write to F-rom both claim to complete but the ER07 persists . I can open the file with Ladder 3 on my PC but of the 2 backups I have both they function the same way at the control. I don’t know what I’m missing.

Within 30 seconds of starting up smoke pours out of the pcv valve on the valve cover. I believe it’s a Kohler CV23 . I have checked the valve adjustment and have 135 psi compression on both cylinders . Any idea as to the cause of the smoke?
