marriage and dysfunctional families

i know some have hiccups and call it dysfunctional but no.. we are talking about abuse( physical/ emotional), mental illness, addiction, neglect, divorced 🤔(not sure about this one) home-jailed females … etc … ((childhood or adult))

-coming from dysfunctional backgrounds how did that affect your relationship/ marriage… and how did you try to fix it?
