Is anyone else participating in the clinical trial “Short TeRm Intensified Pembrolizumab (KEytruda) and Tivozanib for High-risk renal cell carcinoma -STRIKE” trial?
I was accepted last week and have been randomized into the keytruda plus tivozanib cohort. I’m nervcited to begin and just wondering if anyone else is participating too?
…the way she says Barbara. At least two episodes that I can think of she says the name “Barbara” and it literally hurts. “Stage Struck” and “Menace, Anyone?”are the two I can think of. Anything this perfect woman does that sets your teeth on edge?
So many questions are all about lifting/cutting/body comp etc. I am getting ready to start immunotherapy and have had a lot of food aversions with my cancer. Protein is never something that I’ve gone deep on, as I don’t enjoy meat often. I still seem to be able to tolerate shrimp and Greek yogurt, and I plan to incorporate more lentils and other beans. I began tracking food the last few weeks and even when I’m TRYING I’m only hitting about 62 g a day. I have started using orgain protein powder and adding to Greek yogurt and I’m still not getting enough. Any easy on the digestive system options I’m missing? Planning on getting some oikos or Fairlife shakes but they’re pretty pricy and dairy has been a little hit or miss for me nausea-wise.

Anyone else positive for the bap1 mutation and also renal cell carcinoma? Very strong family history of cancers included in the bap1 cancer syndrome, but I’m the first with rcc. Just curious about others experience with follow up therapy, aggressiveness of growth and the length of time between primary site and metastasis (or if Mets were present on diagnosis).
Will be getting a rcc diagnosis with metastasis later this week. How do you balance being overwhelmed in ways that will affect work and regular life with not wanting people to know until you have the full details? I’m struggling to figure out this balance and feel like spontaneous tears due to newness of information will betray me at work (my worst nightmare).

I like to buy my perennials from springhouse or pembertons because of the large native selection. BUT, where are we buying our basic annual (geraniums is what I’m looking to today) at the most reasonable price? I’d prefer no big box…any roadside stands or Amish markets that have them already? Sunshine grow is $10 per geranium, which seems a little steep.
