Tonight I was reading a book to my 7 year old and one of the characters says something like, “if I get a special glove I want it to be a chainsaw, that would be groovy.”
I really appreciated the subtle reference and wanted to share it with someone.
I started doing this a few years ago when people were throwing up stupid comparisons on Facebook between HoF’s from the 60’s and meh QB’s from the modern game. I update the charts every year since I find the results interesting.
I calculate the mean and standard deviation for the QB ratings every year.
Then calculate how many standard deviations QB’s are above or below the mean.
