AI is becoming part of everyday life whether schools like it or not. students are already using it for homework, studying, writing, coding, and even brainstorming ideas.
Some schools are trying to ban it completely, while others are encouraging students to use it. but neither approach feels quite right to me.
on one hand, AI can be an incredible learning tool. On the other, it can make it easy to avoid critical thinking, spread misinformation, or create work that isn’t really your own.
hmmm…If schools are going to teach AI, what should that actually look like?
Should students be taught how to use AI effectively? How to fact check AI responses? When it’s ethical to use it and when it isn’t? Or should AI use be limited until students develop stronger foundational skills first?
I’m curious where people stand on this. If you were designing the curriculum, what would Responsible AI Education look like, and at what age should it start? am really curious
