Kolibrie

Kolibrie

In Bryce Canyon genomen. We deden een wandeling, had toevallig de camera vast. Als ik een fractie later was geweest, was het moment voorbij.

I had been looking forward to visiting Bryce for years. It did not disappoint!

Just saw a post of a Redditor sharing a picture of strangers biking. I got one too! Recognise yourself?

I don’t know this person but I liked the look of the scene.

Sunrise at Glacier Point today

Didn’t see any bears sadly. Just saw another post of a lucky basterd who did.

I recreated a Redditor’s photo today

Five years ago I came across this post (check my comment, can’t add url) and I’ve been using his image as my phone wallpaper ever since. I always thought if I ever go visit the US and Yosemite in particular I’ll try to recreate this.

Today was that day. I spent some time trying to find the exact spot. And although I wasn’t there at sunset, I can’t summon a deer at will, and I don’t have a professional camera or Lightroom, the image is pretty close and I’m happy with it.

Thanks for having me over!

I spent a few days walking and biking around the city, including across the Golden Gate Bridge, and was blown away by the views, the hills, the fog, the light and the sheer character of the place. I even visited the Giants. It’s beautiful, diverse, but also rough around the edges (stayed in Tenderloin). Thanks for having me over, SF.
